Rob Nicol Announces His Retirement From All Forms of Cricket Game


35 years old former New Zealand cricketer Rob Nicol had announced his retirement from all forms of the game..He announced that he will not going to play any International and domestic game anymore..He has played 2 tests,22 ODIs and 21 T20Is for NewZealand..He had scored 941 runs in the 50 over format with 2 centuries.

Nicol had scored a century on his ODI debut and one more played who had done this same thing for NewZealand is Martin Guptill also scored century on his ODI debut match which was againt Zimbabwe..Nicol had made his T20I debut in 2010 ICC World T20 which was against the Windies.

Nicol was the important player for Auckland he had done well for his team..He was an allrounder with his impressive performances he had earned the place in NewZealand..He used to bowl spin and medium pace too.

Nicol cricketing career was of 17 years..He played 8 years for the Auckland county before he made the move to Canterbury county team in 2009-10..In the longest format of the game,Nicol scored 6,000 odd runs with 43 wickets to his name..In the shortest format of the game Nicol had scored 4,717 runs in List A career including nine hundreds and 96 wickets to his name.

He had also replaced his countryman Kane Williamson in the English county side Gloucestershire and had played a season in the County Championships as well.
